Sophia Thomas

Sophia A. Thomas, a proud native of North Caicos, has over 25 years of experience dedicated to the empowerment and development of MSMEs as the CEO of Empower Collective.
Sophia holds a Certified Training Consultant designation from Ball State University, an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from the University of Technology, along with several other professional development certifications.
Beyond her professional commitments, Sophia enjoys family life and actively serves in various capacities within Bethany Baptist Church, BESt Institute, professional organizations, charities, and community initiatives. Her personal interests include sports, fishing, and gardening.
Sophia is an avid short play writer and plans to release one of her three books in 2026. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration at the TCI Community College, and a Sales Agent with Century 21 Real Estate.
Sophia firmly believes that life’s greatest rewards come not from what we receive, but from what we give back to humanity - a philosophy that drives her professional and social involvement.
Sophia is married to Clayton Thomas Snr, and together they are blessed with five daughters, one son, and six grandchildren.
