Eleanor McKnight ART

Irish Born Artist residing in the Turks & Caicos island for 25 years, my work is a reflection of nature's raw beauty, infused with the vibrant colours of the sea and the ever changing movement of the world around me. My art is primarily abstract using oils, with a strong emphasis on colour flowing instinctively from mood and emotion rather than with a structured technique I am self-taught allowing my reflective vision to guide me as i pour paint on to the canvas. Each piece is an homage to the natural world, its rhythms, its fluidity and its untamed spirit. I do not follow trends or fashion nor do i overly explain my process. I focus on breathing life into each piece letting the work speak for itself. My joy is knowing that my paintings have found homes on walls around the world resonating with people in ways words cannot capture. this connection is humbling and it fules my continued exploration of colour nature and movement.
