Candia Ewing

This Pop-Art queen has been splashing her colorful, or should we say black and white, acrylic magic on canvas for quite some time now! Candia's art journey is as vibrant as her homeland, Turks and Caicos Islands.
Fireworks truly lit up as she playfully dabbled in ‘Art History’ and ‘Introduction to Painting’ courses, just for kicks, at the University of Tampa. Little did she know, this would transform art from a hobby into her heartbeat as she fearlessly navigated the canvas on her own terms.
Forget about picture-perfect realism; Candia's all about the dance of monochromatic lines, contours, and tones. Generally, she tosses the rainbow aside to let black, white, and their fifty shades shine. “Working with black and white paint is absolutely freeing!” though she occasionally flirts with a splash of color.
Since 2011, Candia's been capturing the essence of her muses through her pop-art paintings. Her art is a celebration for the world's kaleidoscope of beautiful faces!
